Those trade are pretty lopsided in the Bruins favor.

OTT doesn't give up Pinto for Ullmark straight up. Maybe add a 1st and prospect to OTT and they think about it.

Grz for Roslovic is interesting, but again I think BOS adds there.

I don't see where Hall fits with PIT unless they get rid of Guentzel. Even if they did want him, you're not getting POJ and a 2nd, probably one or the other.

If im BOS, i take that OTT trade and run cuz thats a juicy return, zero chance OTT does that

probably not taking that CBJ trade, Grz is worth more to BOS than JR would, plus he costs more

would have to sit on that PIT trade, dont think PIT does it cuz Hall makes too much $

Like the Raanta and Butcher FA targets

I had seen a lot of chatter with Guentzel getting moved, and based it off that. Valid point on Pinto, but I think OTT is dead set on improving next year and may be willing to lock down a goalie even at a price like this. Maybe a higher end prospect than C. Hall going the other way?

OTT ainbt giving up Pinto at any price since they have no replacement for him, making a hole to maybe fill one still leaves you with a hole

I had played around with retention on Hall, but it only works if Forbert gets moved, so a possibility with an FA add of a vet D man like DeHaan or something like that. And I think the CBJ deal is really a way of both teams pivoting on a player to make room at the position for prospects.

Moving Forbort would be ideal for BOS, and replacing him w a FA like DeHaan is what every Bruins fan on Capfriendly wants, so that would be a good route

Moving Grz for a middle 6 F that costs more isnt the best idea, especially since BOS does not have any NHL ready LD prospects (no Lohrei isnt ready) but JR is not the worst return for Grz ive seen

They have 1C and 2C locked up for 2 more years and I'm guessing they want to give Greig NHL time. I don't really see them sticking him at 4C, so maybe they move Pinto and put Greig at 3C.

If he serves as a 3C, that's easily found in Free Agency wheras a goalie isn't. I love O'Reilly or Domi for the Sens

I agree with what most have said before, but Will Butcher stinks. He just spent an entire season in the AHL, what makes you think he can play top-4 minutes on a playoff team?

He's not slotting right in, but I see him as a low risk, high potential signing. He's 28, and has proven he can perform offensively in a sheltered role when he was younger. With Montgomery's reputation as a players coach, I can see him wanting Butcher back on a team he's coaching

Greig has done nothing to show he is a 3C or ready to be a 3C thus OTT has no replacement for Pinto and thus will not trade him
