I think that you should look at the trade the Kings made today to clear a couple of million dollars of cap and then decide whether Los Angeles has the ability to absorb Hall's cap hit.

This gets Swayman off the market to drive up the price for Hellebuyck. There's no goalies in Winnipeg's system other than Dom D who is at least three years away. Full disclosure I am a Jets fan who wanted to try to figure out if Boston had the cap space to make this work, and I would rather get back Swayman and a 3rd than Dvorak and Florida's first.

I wouldn't call Adrian Kempe and Kevin Fiala bad LWers, and even if they have to play on the right side, Quinton Byfield, Trevor Moore and Alex Iafallo can pretty much hold their own. But thanks for thinking of us!

Not me. Decent Goalies can be had for far, far less and PLD gets far more that this as a pure rental. It's just not good asset management.
