With comparables, I don’t see Swayman signing for less than 4 million and I’m curious what draws you to athe DeBrusk deal. I also believe you have to assume Mitchell Miller gets cut
GMBL and Mojo liked this.

I don’t know if the Blues can realistically trade both Bortuzzo and Kessel. It would ensure that Tyler Tucker would have to play on his offside. We have virtually nothing in terms of depth on the RD side.

Definitely should be giving up Hall for pennies before DeBrusk. Saves more cap as well.

Yes there is - he can be the 3rd or 4th line center. Deal. He’s also the exact type of player they are lacking.

Makes zero sense. They have Buch, Thomas, and Schenn. Then Alexandrov and Dean in the minors. Then you already have Saad, Kyrou, Vrana, Kap, Blais, Neighbours, Torp and Bolduc and Snuggs ready to play by end of next year. Fredric adds nothing, he’s a less productive Schenn who will block Dean’s ice time when they call him up.

Buch was not good at center - not sure what games you were watching... Vrana, Kap, and Blais are going to be up by the time Bolduc, Dean, and Snugs are ready to play...

Frederic - adds nothing? Think you are losing all credibility now...Chris Kerber (the Blues announcer and much more in tune with the team than you and I) even mentioned in recent interview that Frederic is the exact sort of heavy player who can fight if needed (can't be Schenn every time) that they are missing and used to have.

Curious what comparables are you looking at for Swayman?

Yeah sway likely could see more money. But I’m not sure how much more. I think I’m close there.

You could keep debrusk, sign Freddy trade hall. But hall has a no move clause. He likes it in Boston. I don’t want to trade JD but at 4mil it’s something to look at. And if it means bringing in a young, fast centre like McLeod then I’m listening.
Brining in McLeod makes Freddy somewhat available. Some could see that as a lateral move. I don’t. I can see Freddy’s ceiling. McLeod has more potential to be a top 6 centre in my opinion.

I would take a different prospect if one was offered back. I just liked Kessels size.

Alright I’ll do you a solid. I’ll make an AGM and show you what I would do if you wanna add Fredric. Moving Bobby Bortz ain’t it
