A 4th for Beau is probably fair value, but can't see the Hawks spending a pick on a one year rental.

Boeser is younger and better, but also has an extra year on his contract. This allows the Canucks to free up some cap for when they have to pay raises for Pettersson and Hronek.

That's fair, but I do think the Hawks could flip him for a more valuable pick at the deadline if he keeps playing well (especially if they retain further).

What are the main issues with Boeser? Why do most nucks fans want to move him?

He's a bit overpaid, not the best defensively, and is coming off a couple down years largely due to injuries. That being said, he consistently scores at a top-six rate and it's not hard to imagine him scoring 70+ points next year. It's mostly that the Canucks need to create cap flexibility in the next couple years and he would be easier to move than OEL or Myers, especially as the Canucks have a surplus of wingers.

Isn't Mantha getting bought out? I guess a trade would save that penalty

Caps are not expected to buy Mantha out. They will either trade him or keep him. Most likely dump him via trade
