Curious what your thoughts on Forsberg are? This is one I haven't heard any talk of, but in some ways I feel like it could be a good move for us to get more physical scoring.

forsberg has injury issues like most big fellows. We dont know what Nashville's plans are but if they want to get younger they may be interested in this. I can see why we would be okay with the swap. It will be a risk though

That's a really interesting swap. Personally i would seriously consider it, but tbh i don't really see either team doing it. Unless Nashville is going for a complete tear down and is looking to get younger. On Carolina's side, they've never been too quick to pay a player big money into his mid 30's, plus the injury concerns are there. But again, Forsberg, especially if he can get back to his last season form, is exactly the gamebreaker the Canes need.

NSH is looking to get younger, but Forsberg is likely an exception to that rule. NSH doesn't really have any intention of moving on from him, especially considering he just signed a big deal with a full NMC attached. I'm not opposed to the swap itself, but I just don't see NSH making that move.

I love Forsberg and everything he's done for NSH, but I'm strongly considering that move if I'm Trotz. Get a player that's 4 years younger off a breakout season when you're looking to be younger/faster in exchange for someone who hasn't played a full season in the last 6 years. That's hard to pass up.

I think they’d definitely want a lot more. Pld might want to go to mtl but jets could get way more than that trading him to someone else
