I personally wouldn't be interested. I think JJ has well-exceeded expectations, and that he'll probably get more recognition now that Chych and Ghost are gone.
But the offer is fairly solid as ACGM's go, so props for that.

Sorry, but this team is just bad, 0 improvements, bottom 6 is still a big mess, goaltending is meh.

You have no assets to trade for a goaltender. Also, you need cap space to resign Guentzel. Could add another guy on a 1 year deal if you want.

Guentzel raise is going to come with the Jeff Carter money going off the books

and we don't need to trade for a great goalie. Just re-sign Jarry and bring in a 1B, 6 mil in cap space can bring 2 of conor sheary, connor brown or david kampf which would greatly improve the bottom 6

Not the biggest fan of that trade. We're paying a 2nd and a 4th for a lateral move. You left 6mil in cap space that desperately needs to be spend on a forward and/or a goalie.

This can be turned into a decent team - but as is it's another slight playoff miss imo
