It's all moot because the only way Vilardi isn't on the Kings next year is if he gets offersheeted to a value that brings multiple 1sts back. Kings would be over a barrel if someone offered the 1st and 3rd compensation value, but I think they'd do everything they could to make that work (ie. trade Iafallo and/or Arvidsson).
As far as value for the trade overall, 14OA is a good start but LA has no need for bottom 6'ers (they have ~15 forwards already vying for 12 spots) so Poehling does nothing for the Kings. Casey DeSmith might not be a negative value contract, but at 1.8mil he certainly doesn't carry any positive value. I think he'd maybe be worth a 5th or 6th round pick.
All said and done, there's not enough here to entice LA. If Durzi's value is a 2nd and a good prospect, and Vilardi's value is significantly higher than that, you're off by about 2 or 3 solid pieces. Like 2nd round pick or better value pieces.
EDIT: And to add, it doesn't help that the Kings aren't looking for draft capital. They're looking to compete. So picks/prospects don't have as much value to LA in their current state.
