It does not follow that his not willing to sign in Winnipeg means he has "almost non existent" trade value. Trouba still had substantial worth in his trade; they got a mid first and a top4 D prospect.

Jets aren’t trading Dubois unless there is an NHL ready C with 2 C potential coming back. Barron does nothing for them. They have too many D as it is and Beck is too far away.
