I wish that Boston fans would stop with the Ullmark-for-Turcotte-and-a-second formulation. We've been in the news lately so everyone should be aware that we have cap problems every bit as serious as Boston: we have $7.33 million left with 17 players signed and thus 6 roster slots open, and one of them has to go to RFA Gabe Vilardi, who will almost certainly use up around half of it. So any Ullmark trade with us would have to be effectively cap-neutral, and Turcotte doesn't even count against the main roster cap total right now.

LA can't afford Ullmark. Trade him somewhere else or at least make it a hockey trade like Iafallo + JAD for Ullmark. And LA shouldn't move Turcotte until he can stay healthy enough for them to see what he can do. When he's healthy he has glimpses of why they drafted him 5th OA, but he can't stay healthy.

Good trades with LAK and ANA

If LA has cap problems, they should move one of their 4390193572305 middle 6 wingers

If it is a trade with LA, my guess is it would be Danault and Durzi for Ullmark and Forbort.

I’ve wondered about a Villardi for Swayman deal, but my guess is both sides would probably have an issue with it.

Not even close for Danault. Danault is LA's McDavid shutdown guy and too important to the Kings. Goalies aren't going to get that much. Hell no on Forbort! Been there, done that. No thanks! LA can't afford an expensive goalie without Iafallo or Arvidsson going the other way and they aren't cap dumps as they still have good value.

Boston would be dumb to move Swayman and Vilardi isn't being moved. LA waited through that back injury and position swap on Vilardi and now he's living up to the billing.

I viewed your team as solid offensively and defensively, but trusting your season on Phoenix Copley is borderline stupid.

Last season he went 24-6-3 with a 0.903SV% and a 2.64GAA. He is fine for now. They will look for a cheap veteran goalie until they get more cap space for a 1A goalie.
