Description

Conor Sheary adds speed (he’s described as an aggressive forechecker who doesn’t shy away from shooting and going towards the net), while Bonino brings experience (he’s won a championship in multiple leagues) two-way ability and leadership. Both are familiar with potential coaches Hynes and Laviolette (Hynes helped Sheary with developing his game in Wilkes-Barre, and coached Bonino in Nashville; Laviolette coached Sheary and Bonino in Washington and Nashville).

Make a roster where you have Goodrow and enough players to run a roster. Sheary and Bonino are the only guys you really sign, but even there you need to spend at least $750k, same for backup. Taking the minimum from those spots and you save $2.75m.

You really want to run Igor into the ground with a worse backup?
