Calgary passes. 16 OA in a deep draft isn't worth Nylander and Gio who already sold his house here and will probably just retire).

I think they would certainly consider it for #16 overall, particularly if there is a player that they like there.

I would. I like olofsson, don't like mittelstadt, both players should be near done here. Olofsson will likely get replaced by one of our first round pick forwards, probably kulich. Mittelstadt was awful for parts of last year, but he finished strong, and ultimately we could use a center that has a better two way game, to compliment the other centers.

I agree. But GM and coach like Mitts and not Olofsson. Also don’t see Adams trading him inside the division if he does trade Mitts

They're already talking about mittelstadts next contract. Granato seems to thrive on reclamation projects, and adams isn't gonna make a ton of moves, so he's gonna get several more chances to prove me wrong. Toronto would never offer what the op has here, olofsson doesn't have that kind of value, and frankly neither does mittelstadt, plus toronto would be taking on salary and just sending back a first round pick, that's not a move they would make. They might like to shed some salary and get back a first round pick, but they aren't in any position to trade high value futures for questionable younger players, and taking salary on to boot.
