Having played with Edmonton and Carolina, I think we've seen the most that Foegele is capable of. Comtois is cheaper and three years younger; it costs us almost nothing to find out whether he can still improve. We'll stand pat.

I strongly disagree with your thoughts on Foegele. He should've got more top 6 time in his 2nd season as an Oiler. When given an opportunity for some time while Kane was injured he Foegele vs Tavares, and he was the best forward on the team in CF, FF, and SF percentages 5v5 in the playoffs.
I think they should keep him, so kind pointless to say all this, but I feel like not enough Oilers fans defend the team and the players on it.
