Not a fan of the 1st trade tho. Veleno is one of the hardest working guys on the team and he's just getting better. Why mess up with the team chemistry just to get a similar player in return, but who is also more expensive?

It's not far off in terms of value, but I don't see this as a good fit. Detroit is small up front with Raymond, Berggren, Debrincat... Rasmussen's size and physicality is needed.

Doesn't really make sense for either team. Justin Holl has actually been surprisingly good - no reason to trade for another RD who has term on his contract.

Please stop being so biased😂 Pinto was better last season, but how can you say that Podkolzin is a bust when Pinto and Podkolzin has almost the same career high in points?

Podkolzin 26p best season (Podkolzin is a also younger).

Thread: moving raymond

Sorry, but it doesn't make sense. Raymond was picked 4th overall and has the 2nd most points from the whole 2020 Draft class. Tucotte, Dufour, Eklund has potential, but they haven't proved anything at the NHL level yet.

If Raymond was ever traded it would be in a package for a superstar. These moves just pushes the rebuild back and gets us more Quantity.
