Future Powerplay and draftpick
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lancebmx</b></div><div>If for some reason we win the lottery and have our choice, I take Catton. Silayev is tempting as well though, big shut down D that can skate are hard to come by. Around #15 though there are some interesting players. MBN w would be a top choice for me. Connolly and Greentree wouldn't be bad either.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DanielSan92</b></div><div>MBN and Chernyshov both fit the Yzerman/Draper mold of hard working players.
Both also fit a need as bigger wingers that play with some edge. We’ve got a lot of small guys. Even Mazur is edgy but not big.</div></div>
Similar thoughts. A future Top 4: Silayev-Seider and Edvinsson-ASP would be 🔥
MBN is a Red Wing if he's still available when we pick. I could bet on that💯. Right handed sniper who plays hard along the boards & great two-way player.

What would you trade him forvalue
3rd round pick most likely, but i wouldn't do that. He brings a lot of speed and he finishes his checks.

Teamop
There is a good chance that one of Brandsegg-Nygård, Liam Greentree or Helenius is available when the Red Wings pick in the (14-19 range). Definitely not giving up that good of a prospect just to free up little bit of Cap space.
Fabbri can be bought out for pretty cheap or traded for positive value if we retain a little bit of money.

Marky to Detroit
Maybe if Markström was 10 years younger, but Detroit is not in a position where they can trade away valuable assets for a 34y old goalie.

Habs Stay the Course
I wouldn't do this.
Elmer can be dominant with the puck, as he showed in a small sample size last season. Red Wings need size and players who can hold onto the puck. Even if Söderblom doesn't become more than a bottom-6F, he will be a really important one in that role. And a fan favorite.

What is GMSY going to do to fix this mess
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Logicalicesports</b></div><div>Look at the teams they play on Grand Rapids has a lot better talent in it than Iowa. A good team helps that out. Wallstadt and Askorov are considered the best goalie prospects right now so I don't see how you are thinking Cossa is a better goaltender.</div></div>
Cossa underatted and Wallstedt overrated🤔

Tougher and better defensively
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>Cool. But CHI is not even a remotely realistic destination for either player if you are looking for positive value. Find some other club to be your "any team".</div></div>
Maybe not Määttä, but Kyle Davidson traded for Anthony Beauvillier who is worse than Fabbri. Similar Cap hit than Fabbri, No salary retained either. So saying that it's not even a remotely realistic destination is kinda weird. Buy low and sell high at the next Deadline;)

Maybe, but i doubt it. How often do we see top prospects getting traded? Hronek was traded for a 1st & 2nd. Andersson is probably worth sligthly more than that.

I'd much prefer to look elsewhere and find someone better. Some players take longer to develop, Joseph played for Tampa when he was 22y-25y. He's certainly a better player now than then.

Everyone is praising the Sabres for how good they are at Drafting and how great their future is, but how many 5’10” offense first wingers can you really have in the lineup at the same time?

Giving up assets for a 6.4M back up goalie will not happen. Wings just need a reliable back up who doesn't cost too much.

I didn’t even look at Leo at all because of it and was like huh when we took him but then I went and started looking into him and I figured out why he went there and I am so happy about the pick. Guy is a horse
That’s making me look into a lot more guys this year and not just finding ‘my guy’ for whatever spot we’re drafting</div></div>
I can almost guarantee you that if Cayden Lindstrom is available, Verbeek will pick him. 6'4" Power forward who skates well and has skill - That's a Verbeek type a player.
