Markstrom isnt worth anything close to that price. Lyon has the same save percentage and he makes 5 million less. No ones giving up that much for a 34 year old. Also, if the Wings want to get rid of Husso they'll just buy him out.

Husso isn't a cap dump, so while i get what you are saying and respect your opinion, it's not a correct take. Wings are gonna pass at this cost, it's not the way yzerman does business

Goalies don't bring in big returns. Below are 2 goalie trades where age and stats are similar to Markström.

Chicago traded Fleury to Minnesota for a 2nd that had a condition that could turn into a 1st.

StL traded Allen to Montreal for a 3rd and a 7th

Maybe if Markström was 10 years younger, but Detroit is not in a position where they can trade away valuable assets for a 34y old goalie.
