Doing a bit of reverse engineering...The value is about right to take on Mantha..2nd round pick. The difficult part is this draft. Some people think Michkov might fall that far. I personally don't think so, but even if there's a NON-0% chance of that happening...they can't trade that pick.

I agree, that's why I want the Pens to somehow move up to try and get Michkov, but yeah I can definitely see the Caps take him at 8 (fitting number)

Don't think caps do this, but I am intrigued by the possibility of taking on Mantha + an asset. I think he could have some value with a change of scenery.

Caps definitely won't do this move. I'd think that if Pittsburgh wants Mantha, they're not getting any sweeteners to take him. Caps would rather send him somewhere else so there's a far lesser chance for him to bite them in the butt.

0% chance caps do this. I expect them to pay a 3rd or a 4th to dump him
