Even more reason to stay away from him then.

Why would you want Hudler then? He was injured (knee) and had a mystery virus most of last season - he played less than Sharp did. He also had a lower PPG than Sharp - .34 vs .38 respectively. If injury is a concern, the Hawks should stay away from both.

I think the Islander trade is a little lopsided for the Hawks. Top 10 LW + solid 3C for a top 4 shutdown d-man + power forward 2LW + A/B level prospect + a 1st doesn't seem to be quite fair.
