Terrific title but the moves are on par with "Tre-rific" and "Tre-rible". 7M for K Miller?

I think Miller can potentially be in the same tier as Sergachev, but after some thought I gotta agree that's probably not the right amount for him.

This trade is even-steven my friend. Willy is the best player in the deal and also 2 years younger than Lindholm.

Well first of all Flames wouldn't trade Lindholm for Nylander straight up. Lindholm is nearly as good offensively and drastically better defensively, as you can see here. Also they are not 2 years apart in age they are 1 year and 5 months. Not to mention Lindholm plays the significantly more relevant position

Lol. Do you watch any other team aside from the Leafs? Lindhom is much better than Nylander and plays a premium position

Chris Drury might block Treilivings number if he proposes him something like this. Makes zero sense from a NYR perspective.

Might be but without Sergachev's performance in that second cup run and TB winning back-to-back, handing out that contract to him doesn't come that easy. TB has players that fit in a system that works/was working so it's about keeping those guys around. With bringing in Miller, there isn't going to be any first-hand knowledge on how he will fit with the core/team system and considering the DCore is going to have an overhaul sooner rather than later, that would be incredibly risky. If Treliving wants to take a gamble, then it would have to be paying him 1-1.5m above his current paygrade to secure the long-term deal. I think you're overpaying in the trade for him and Schneider as well.

Nylander is on an entirely different level than Lindholm. He nearly single handedly kept the Leafs season alive in the playoffs. Even Maurice, in his post series interview was at a loss for how good Nylander was. Only reason I'd trade him is to shake things up and get a significant return for him. And I've watched enough of the Flames to question whether or not Lindholm even wants to re-up with them. You might have a better shot at keeping Nylander than Lindholm. In any event, a trade like this would probably be contingent on both players re-signing.

Lol keep your 1 dimensional winger then. Odds of Lindholm leaving Calgary are just as high as Nylander leaving Toronto, or are the reports about him being upset after being removed from the 1st powerplay unit completely wrong
