Description
Continued rumblings that Vancouver is highly interested in Lafrieniere, and I read a while back that New York would attach a 2nd to get Goodrow gone.

Vancouver has a need for a 3C, and someone who bangs. Goodrow checks both of those boxes.

How close, or far off is this trade? I realize New York doesn’t have a lot of cap to work with, but how is it?

couldn't even make a package just due to the fact that the offer has to be really good for us to move the needle, 11th overall + would be my guess, but its unrealistic. It takes two to tango tho so thats what we'd be asking for.

It starts with your 2023 1st round pick and Podkolzin, and add from there. To high? No problem, we will be happy to keep Laffy.

Still iffy cap compliant for the Rangers and I imagine Canucks aren't on Goodrow's trade list.

With all the future crazy ufa signings, Goody doesn't look that bad, plus he is glue, simply retain 1m and GMs would line up. Garland is a 5m small Miles Wood. Shortsighted deal. Monkey see, monkey do
