Given the Leafs cap situation/value of Laughton contract, I would argue it isn’t.

The problem is that we have hardly any picks and no matter.how much the cap goes up, we need to replenish with cheap ELC players.

Also he is not worth that either.

Flyers accept and considering the Flyers have already down offers of a late first round pick for Laughton this offseason that is absolutely fair value. Robertson's value isn't exactly at a high point right now and he is looking like just as much of a reclamation project right now as he is a high level prospect. Laughton is exactly the type of player who a team like the Leafs could use since he can be used in a variety of different roles and play center or win in a mid six role at a reasonable price.
