Revisionist History 2020

Created by: Benzino204
Team: 2023-24 Winnipeg Jets
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 13, 2023
Published: Jun. 13, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Jets fans like myself aren't happy. And if we look back at the rumoured reasons of Laine's trade request, the current rumours, and the status of the team, I do believe a lot of us would have preferred Scheifele and Wheeler being traded.

Man I miss Patty, and Copper (though I will say the return we got for him is looking excellent)

You had no choice in trading Copp, Because he wasn't going to stay with that joke of an organization.

Going to arbitration twice is what ruined the relationship, and there were rumours around the city that stated Copper was house hunting in Winnipeg before the negotiations went sour,

He was never going to extend in Winnipeg, he said at his presser after signing with hometown Detroit. That it was his intention and dream to sign with his hometown team. He wanted to play with Larkin.

Lol you'd choose to undo getting Brad Lambert for a guy who had 9 goals last year?

Copper had a bad and inconsistent year in Detroit. He was ascending every year in Winnipeg. I'm not mad at the trade because of Barron, and Lambert, but I would have preferred he signed an extension.
