No need for a rental goalie. Habs pass and Winnipeg probably does as well

Two cap dumps and a very late first wouldn't get Niederrieter alone far less Hellebuyck.

Lol, of course we pass. Anderson and Allen have positive value. Nidereiter is worth a second. Hellebuyck won’t sign in Canada. Huge overpayment

Since when does Jake Allen have positive value?? This isn't the 2019 / 2020 season..............

He is still a reliable backup. If we retain half we can get a second for him

Anderson and Allen have - value, so you expect them and a late first to get you Nino and a top 3 goalie.

Even with 50% retention, he'll be almost $2M. That's too much for a back up who's been fairly injury prone the past few seasons

Hellebuyck has never said he won't sign in Canada. He wants a winner and Habs would not be in his timeline.
