The only way this deal goes through is if you take out Campbell and trade him elsewhere. Trade break down is like this:

That is precisely why Campbell is call an cap dump and have negative value. I mean maybe a team like Hawks would take is contract if he's attached along with a good pick and an prospect ?

The oilers would be giving up a 1st 4th and a 6th. Carter hart is also negative value aswell he hasnt got any better since his rookie season.

Hart is no negative value. While he did do great, he's still young and have play for flyer which was not 100% good.

A player the Flyers aren't looking to move unless they get a massive overpay doesn't have negative value. Hart is 24 and has 1 year left at 3.79 million. Campbell is 30 with 4 years left at 5 million. Hart has better stats then Campbell and is cheaper. That means his value is higher than Campbell's.

Four years of an albatross will require more than a single 1st and some late picks.
