Grabovski, Sbisa, and Stoner will come off the cap at the end of the season, so they won't be cash-strapped even with new deals for Marchessault and Theodore.

Snowbalt: Agree with you that Vegas made some questionable picks. For instance Sbisa, would have better to take a minor leaguer and save cap. Or Brinkley of Carolina, thought Stepaniuk who is cheap and has trade value possibly might have been preferred pick. I know Engelland is a Vegas boy, but couldn't they have selected a Calgary player and signed Engellland as a UFA.
