Scandella & Duchene: not sure we have the depth needed

Description
I went into this exercise trying to acquire Scandella and Duchene... I'm not sure we have the depth or the right assets to make this happen. This is the best I came up with but I don't think it's enough. FYI: I'm doing this without giving up Galchenyuk. Habs need 2 C's better than Danault when it comes to offensive output. Trading Glachenyuk is counter productive in my opinion.

I'd do the Wild trade. It might be overpay. 1st + either the 2nd or McCarron might get it done.

I think the MN trade value works out but I can't say I love McCarron. We'd rather have a physical D prospect type of player than another forward.

A big C/RW prospect does have some value. Stewie/McCarron/White (or similar) 4th line would be a nice checking line for next year. Even if McCarron tops out as a quality 3C it's something the Wild don't really have in the system.

Wow since when did Scandella become a stud worthy of two 1st's and a 2nd????? I guess players exposed in the draft have had there value doubled for some reason???

I like the guy but would be furious if MB paid that price for him. If thats the price for him, overpaying a guy like Shattenkirk for 7M makes more sense.

Fair enough, I didn't see his size initially and that could be valuable for us to add a physical young guy . Can't say im dying for white to be back, guy looks lost in the defensive zone most of the time

Scandella easily would be your second best defensemen, is French which seems to matter a lot in MTL, and is right in his prime. He doesn't get a ton of ice time in MN because they couldn't find a good partner for him but he's a good player. McCarron and a 1st is probably fair value

White gave up on a few plays, that's what really stood out. His physical game was more what I was referring too. Nobody else since Clutterbuck has had that type of a physical game.

Marco, what do you see McCarron becoming as a player? 2C ceiling with 3C as likely where he ends up is what I've seen.

I think the value is high on the MIN trade and about right with COL. I still see them moving Galchenyuk here instead of losing all these picks (or including losing all these picks).

Hey just wondering, can we sent Byron instead of lehkonen to Colorado. I just think lehkonen has more potential.

I think COL likely thinks the same as you wink
