AZ trade last year in a heartbeat but hayton second half last season actually looked like top6 C (which AZ lacks badly), dont see AZ getting rid of him now, hes 23 and looks to be a core player. McMichael good player but W and AZ has lots of them. Next years 1st (prolly mid teens) wont be ready for few years. Bird in the hand for AZ on this.

Makes sense. Worth mentioning McMichael is actually a center. He plays center in the AHL and was drafted as one. Makes sense though if Arizona wants to hold onto Hayton.

I imagine Arizona declines that. They need to keep guys that they've made developmental progress with at this point, and Hayton should be a top six C for them down the road. McMichael has a ways to go before he (potentially) gets there.

I love the Graves pickup. This team badly needs a real physical presence defensively, and Graves would be a great fit next to Carlson or Jensen.
