That's tough. Laf has been really incredibly disappointing thus far. Can he turn things around? Maybe, but if he doesn't take a huge leap forward this coming season it doesn't look great for him. His foot speed isn't there and I'm told his work ethic is lacking.

Miller is a very shiny piece, could be a great long term partner for Drysdale, but is he a necessary piece when we have Mintyukov and the others in the pipeline at LHD.

Chytl is kind meh, not a bad player but paid market rate. NYR pick is way late.

I'd have to be convinced that Laf is going to fulfill his potential to be a top line power forward in order to consider this trade without the Boston 2nd. Right now though I'm on the "he's a bust" fence.

Laf is most assuredly being under utilized, but when you factor in control, the bevy of LHD’s coming, etc, and the fact that the rangers then get the better (at this point) prospect, plus the cap savings to improve their contending teams roster elsewhere…it just doesn’t work.
