Hellebuyck and Leafs 3rd line

Created by: PensGMwannabe
Team: 2023-24 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 16, 2023
Published: Jun. 16, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Pickering and Smith are 2 western Canadian boys that wouldn't mind being in Winnipeg.
Seravalli reporting Dubas has interest in Kampf. Not sure if he's good enough offensively to be a 3C.

Definitely a solid team. Don't ask me if they can re-sign Guentzel and Hellebuyck though :)

If Winnipeg doesn't want Granlund, we can just buy him out. The buyout cap hit is minimal this season.

I kinda like Kerfoot...although he has little offensive flair. But think you've given up too much $$$. Don't really understand all the love for Accarli either. Might be better to save that cap and sign ROR, if ex Leafs are so desired. Jets fans think Hellebucyk is worth more but IMO your offer including Granlund is more than fair for the Jets.

The Jets aren't taking Granlund back for free. Add another 1st to dump him. The Jets would have no interest in Smith.

Think a 1st and good prospect will be the price for helle but most teams in the league can offer a better prospect so I doubt Pittsburgh gets him.

A first to dump someone with a sub 1million dollar buyout lmao you're surely joking right? Seems pretty even with the pens taking on the cap dump of dillon.

Cool. Then hang onto him. The Jets aren't wasting a buy out on him or $5 mil playing him.

Hey I'm not the one that made the outlandish suggestion that a sub 1mill buyout costs a 1st to dump lol. I figured since Winnipeg has such trouble getting players to want to play there they may want to trade for guys with term left
