Probably not, he basically forced himself to Boston and wants to stay here. But I don't know how much he wants a cup. Depending on Boston's situation, he may think NJ is closer

Probably not. And while I initially thought it would be great to have him back in NJ, I think it's best if he doesn't come back.

Personally I’d say yes if I was the B’s, would be contingent on Hall’s NTC though.

By all accounts Hall loved NJ and was willing to stay, but getting a cup was his first priority. I see no reason why he’d be opposed to returning.

Was the getting the cup truly his 1st priority? I mean he did decide to sign a deal in Buffalo of all places, after the trade to Arizona. To me, there's point to go down the Hall route again, just sign O'Reilly or trade for a younger middle 6 forward

The point is that it’s short term, cheap to acquire, he’d fit the system extreme well, knows the team, fills a position of need, and is far better than any UFA on the market

I think his goal there was to get paid for a year, play well, and leverage where he went at the TDL.
