Wallstedt is more important to us than any of those pieces could ever be. Our goalie of the future. You'd have to really step up with a quality offer to get our attention.

You really want our top prospect? Give us yours.

Which gives TB the better chance of winning this year Colton or that pile of 💩? Picks mean little to nothing, Walsh is useless to TB log jammed at RD,Lazar whatever quantity doesn't equal quality. This trad starts with Bahl from TBs perspective or it doesn't happen.

I mean, Holtz is our top forward prospect and is supposed to be a 30+ G scorer, Daws will likely be a serviceable starter and just played in the AHL all-star game, A First, and likely a high third since Calgary might blow it up and rebuild

Caps are trying to retool and stay competitive. Tom Wilson is a unicorn in the league and they aren't trading him for a bunch of mid players and low draft picks

I would think something around Gustavson would be more likely from a Wild perspective.

That's a lot of stuff, yes, but nothing in the package screams a good deal. How would you react if Minnesota offered you Liam Öhgren, Jack Peart, a 1st, and a 3rd for Luke Hughes?

Except goalie prospects are a crapshoot. Luke Hughes is a top 2 prospect in hockey, Wallstadt doesn't have that value. His value is much closer to Holtz than it is Hughes

Goalies in general are a crapshoot but Wallstedt is the #1 goalie prospect in the world. You can't get a more sure thing than him. If Wallstedt doesn't have extreme value, there is no point for us to trade him. You don't trade a dollar for four quarters.

The point is, we are more than happy to keep him unless you blow us away with an offer. This doesn't do it.

Wallstedt is not definitively the top 1. Levi, Askarov, Wolf are all in the discussion and could EASILY turn out better. Goalie prospects are hard to place but I doubt if you included Wallstedt he'd be in the top 10 value wise

If Levi, Askarov, and Wolf are better prospects, go after them instead. You might even get them for a cheaper price! I don't get why you would try to talk down on Wallstedt and then try to acquire him. You certainly place a lot of value on him. But Minnesota knows the talent they have and is not going to give it away for peanuts.

I didn't make this post and I wouldn't make that trade. Goalie prospects, like I said, are a crapshoot and I'm not trading for them

Not going to defend this offer, since I agree it’s not a particularly good one, but this implies that guys like Fabian Lysell would be worth the same as Wallstedt, Nemec, Hutson or Wright, because they’re each respective systems’ top prospects?

Minnesota isn't trading wallstedt. With all due respect, you offered nothing to Minnesota to even consider this. No from Minnesota Wild. Wallstedt isn't Available

Minnesota is the last team needing a winger prospect. And then you think offering a 2024 1st round pick and lesser G prospect would get Wallstedt? No. It would cost you Dawson and more. You literally offered nothing. It's not that serious but you don't understand Wallstedt worth or what Minnesota would need

The price for Wallstedt is whatever you think is unreasonable and then add a little bit more. The Wild have no reason to move him.
