Why would the Flames accept? They paid a 3rd to get Vladar, he got better, and now he's worth less? Or is Parker Kelly that good of a player?

There is still some potential, with proper development he could fill the Hanifin gap

Allocating all that cap space to DeBrincat is not the right play for the Sens. They basically already have 5 first line forwards so they would need a cheaper 2-way forward and have the other spot for Greig.

Yes he's a forward, a 13th forward

Maybe Flames could get a little more value for Vladar but the right play for the Sens is to sign a UFA goalie anyway, a stop gap for Sogaard and/or Merilainen. Forsberg is there too and he's good
