Big overpay for Dumba. Swayman doesn't sign that contract. I don't think Ovi is a good fit at all.

For $3 million Boston would just re-sign Swaymn themselves. Giving his a 3yr deal though is poor asset management as he'd be a UFA at the earliest point possible.

Boston doesn't really need goalie prospects, I do like Mittelstadt and Krebs though. But, the only way Bruins deal Swayman is if he's going to get $4m+ and they can't get rid of Ullmark. They're going to keep him at $3m.

As mentioned above... the B´s will do all they can to keep Swayman... but Mittelstadt is enticing! Cudos for the job thus far!!!

Assuming one or both of Burgeron and Krejci don't return, they barely have any relevant top 6 centers... why would they spend money on a 2nd goalie when they already got their Vezina starter? Ullmark played almost 50 games, so it's more of a starting goalie situation there and less of a 1A/1B

Regardless, this happens all the time, where the RFA doesn't sign with a team, he gets traded, then he has to take less money because they are running out of options. BUF has money to offer him more, I just consider this very small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. Whether it's this trade or not, I think it'd be pretty foolish for BOS to sign Swayman if he wants anything over 2mil considering their center ice position

Yes, the BUF defense could sure use an anchor. Term can be shortened if need be, but he's exactly what they need. Physical RHD since all their good D are LHD.

BUF absolutely needs a 2nd goalie of some sort to run 1A/1B with Levi. He played really well in his little stint, but it was just a few games.
