Trades
1.
ARI
  1. Colton, Ross [RFA Rights]
TBL
  1. Fischer, Christian [RFA Rights]
  2. Ingram, Connor [RFA Rights]
  3. 2023 3rd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
If Tampa doesn't resign Colton, they get a decent forward back and a good backup option for Vasy.
2.
ARI
  1. Reilly, Mike
  2. Swayman, Jeremy [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Arizona gets a young goalie for the future. Reilly was added for cap reasons.
BOS
  1. Schmaltz, Nick
Additional Details:
Boston needs a number #1 center if Bergeron retires.
3.
ARI
  1. Chytil, Filip
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Arizona gets a young centerman and trades a pick they probably don't need much. Arizona is close to getting better with guys like Guenther and likely Reinbacher, who I'd pick at #6, being ready next season.
NYR
  1. 2023 1st round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
I would be devastated as a Rangers fan. Initially, I was going to target Laf or Kakko. However, I think Chytil makes more sense as we have Mika, Trocheck, and Goodrow.

Kane signs with the promise he will be traded at the 2024 deadline.

Schmaltz would be Boston's 3rd line center. We'll pass.

A guy who's been on pace for 70 plus points the last two seasons on one of the NHL's worst teams; lol.

Wrong, he’d be a middle 6 RW because he’s not a center. He’s awful there.

      Rangers decline. Chytil's a cost-controlled borderline 2C at the moment, and he's just 23.

AZ plays in a 4600 seat arena. Putting fans in the seats isn't the issue. No chance AZ spends more than $1 or $2 million above the cap floor. And no chance they trade Voracek or Little either.

If Colton signs @3 he's wearing a bolt.

It makes no sense for Chytil or Trocheck to be buried on the 3rd line with our cap situation being what it is.

Good teams have great center depth lol

I don’t see why not Mika, Trocheck and Chytil play the same minutes at even strength

You’re not wrong, but center depth is a good problem to have: also if you’re moving one of Chytil or trocheck, you move trocheck.
Chytil is signed for 4 years at a lower cap hit, and has a higher ceiling than trocheck.

Also you’re probably under valuing a 23 year old center who just put up 45 pts in 74 games with almost no pp time, who’s signed to a 4x4.
