As a Hawks fan, the only reason to do this is to flip Hall and retain 50%. He'll get a lot in return. BOS has an interesting offseason ahead of them. Lots of available pieces to move out, but lots of cap needed to be gained.

Mike will be bought out. It'll hurt more next year than this year, but BOS wont be willing to lose too much draft capital to do it. Hall might even be trade in a good Ole hockey trade. WPG has an unhappy center with similar cap...seems like a good fit for everyone but Hall.
