Did someone cue me? “Struggling prospect” is putting it mildly, don’t you think? The kid is finding it tough sledding in the ECHL. Hawks fans loves Seabs (for good reason) but this is giving a handout instead of weaponizing their cap space.
Im not against helping the Bolts out & taking Seabs contract back, just think there should be something better coming back. You scratch my back, I’ll scratch your back. Not I’ll scratch your back, then you run off laughing.

I’ve been looking at the bolts roster & prospects trying to figure that out. You guys have been in win now mode for so long there is not a ton to work with. Hawks are looking for forwards.
How would you feel about Seabs & Issac Howard w/the Hawks sending a pick back. A 3rd?
I loved how he wore the huge USA belt buckle to the draft in Montreal.

If our situations were reversed, I would say the same thing.
Thought about it after I hit submit & realized it was a pretty poor offer.

Honestly I think we’d do a mid tier prospect or like a 5th next year
