tbh that nucks deal is pretty original - haven't seen it before and its kinda intriguing. I just dont see it happening IRL

2 guys who can score 50, three who can score 40 in any given season. As for not playing defense? That's what Hellebuyck is for.

It's not hate. This is just an upgrade.

I would definitely like Samsonov to be back if Treliving can't find an upgrade via trade.

No. Canucks have the wingers for Pettersson and definitely aren't making the playoffs with Nils Aman as our 2C

3 guys who are capable of scoring 50. Yeah. I like that idea. But defense wins cup. And your Goalie can only steal you some games. Team defense is key. I doubt Treliving will put this 1st line together.

For me, I'd rather sign Samsonov & use the cap savings & draft capital to upgrade the lineup elsewhere.
Samsonov is not Helly, but he's good enough to win.

Overall, original idea- but the Miller term isn't ideal, Helly doesn't extend, you've underpaid Graves & Mayfield... and I assume the money to extend AM34 is coming out of WN88, who you'll need to replace.

Miller has gotten Selke votes in the past, he had a few glaring issues last year early on when faecal matter hit the fan, but he was our 2nd best forward on the back half the season, playing at a better than PPG rate
