I agree he's a horrible GM, but i wouldn't call him an idiot and Hamonic is their best d-man.

Leddy is easily best, and he could be getting those to flip to COL for Duchene. They need young assets -> 2 1st round picks.

He's not, but right now hes pulling a smarter Sakic (Hamonics price will actually come down while Sakic is standing pat on his demands that still havent been met in 4 months). Obviously he'll never get that but If you start the price crazy high maybe somebody will bite for a higher price than Snow thinks he's truly worth. Say Snow thinks hes worth a 1st, asks for 2 1st's in return, but settles with say a 1st and a 3rd. He walks out a winner in his eyes. All about playing the game and I think that's what he's doing with Hamonic right now.
