Swayman is the starter in waiting in Boston, and he is still going to be reasonably priced for the foreseeable future. It'll take a lot more than a decent wing prospect who hasn't played meaningful games yet and a backup goalie to get him. It is hard to find a comp for this kind of trade because guys like him just never get traded, even when they are on bad teams.

I don't think they must trade Ullmark or Swayman in the next 2 years, although it would make sense to get something for Ullmark in that time if they are not competitive. The only way I see them trading Swayman is if Bussi turns into a starter, or if they get a true Godfather package.

The third line here is pretty brutal, maybe worse than last years. Heinen is way overpaid and Carter just can't be 3C. I'm not super optimistic about Nylander either. Like the Barbashev signing tho.
