Description

Vancouver lacks as it stands right now a 3C and 1 or 2 top 4 defenders. Addition to the pk would be ideal. They might have cap today but next season will be harder. Bear is injured for quite a while and I have no clue on his status

Gudbransons contract makes Colombus play him in the 3rd pair. That leaves Boqvist and Peeke for the second pair if Jiricek stays in the ahl. Colombus need Peekes cap to have the room for a proper top center and don’t have much to bargain with.

Lmao, CBJ gets way better offers than that. Rather just keep Peeke as depth at that price. CBJ are not strapped for cap space, we have leverage and this won't be like another Bjorkstrand trade

I feel like I see “Boston needs to shed cap so this guy will be cheap” Boston also has multiple ways to get under the cap. They can use 2 buyouts that won’t be debilitating they have multiple other players they can trade. This isn’t a Patrick Marleau going from Toronto to CAR. If ya want the player pay a fair price and you’ll get him.

We can get better for Peeke, especially since demand is driving up right now.

Also, Kravtsov is already signed in the KHL making him a complete non-asset.
