If I were Nashville, I’d totally accept that offer.

The Edmonton 1st and a 3rd and 4th actually seems reasonable. It doesn't quite fit Trotz's plan in my eyes, but this is one I think I'd be okay with them doing.

I think if Ottawa wanted to push, they maybe ask for the Nashville 1st instead of Edmonton, but tbh, this is close (ish) to what ottawa paid Chicago.

If you aren’t interested in a 1st for Laughton then you don’t get Laughton, crazy how that works lol

Philly has rejected late firsts for Laughton. He is only being moved if the package contains a first and another assets

Yeah but 1st round picks are not equal? There's a gigantic difference between 7th OA and 24th OA

Sens traded a better player for a 2nd last off-season. How Dumb Dorion would be to pay a 1st for LAUGHton?

Who?

Connor Brown.

At the same time, it's very possible because Dorion does a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense

Like trading a 2nd for a declined Derek 6.5 AAV Stepan when he didn't even want to be in Canada (covid)

Or trading Gustavsson (looked amazing with the eye test) for a an older, cost 3.0 more and UFA to be goalie

Or trade Nick Paul and Connor Brown (who was pissed that Dorion traded Paul) to take on Talbot and DeBrincat (who the Sens couldn't afford long term)
