Description
I'd be thrilled if 37 and 46 returned on similar deals to last season, but just in case they don't I think this could be realistic.

Makes too much sense to buyout Mike Reilly so see ya later kid.

I read that if LA pursued Ullmark it would look something along these lines, Iafallo to make $$ work and Turcotte because he's fallen out of favor and needs a change of scenery. Figure that Ullmark for this package makes sense. If you think 2nd round pick is too much that's cool, take it out the deal.

Forbort maybe helps provide a veteran presence on a rising but still young NJD team. Trade provides Bruins with some cap relief.

Hall for Newhook - IDK if the Aves go for it but I figure that he'd help offset their losing Landeskog for the season. Hall isn't the player everyone thought he was as #1 pick but I'm sure if he was riding on a line with MacKinnon he'd replicate some of his success from 2021-2022 season (60 pts) riding on a line with Pastrnak. Cap savings of $1M once Landeskog is on LTIR, allowing Colorado to allocate RFA $$$ to Byram.

Bruins sign some aging veterans in OEL, JVR, and Rittich to cheap deals, providing experience that offsets the overreliance on youth (Lauko, McLaughlin, Steen, take your pick of the providence guys).

Kings say no. And goodluck with your signings if you want to try and get absolute top dollar to get Ullmark off your cap.

You will not get a player like Newhook for Hall, you might even get a no for JLF. Avs will not move out a cost controlled center for an overpaid winger
Edit:fit would be good while Landy is out, that 2nd year of 6m is tough with Toews to take care of.

I like this, but the Kings and Avs returns are probably optimistic, ya probably remove that 2nd, and Avs wont trade Newhook

Assuming NJD is a placeholder, Forbort is probably worth a 5th on a different team

Thanks for the context! I was not sure about this one, mostly thinking they'd look for some scoring in the absence of Landeskog and that the Bruins would pursue a young center. Maybe that second year is a future problem for the aves, maybe Hall is insurance in case Landeskog can't return in 24-25.

Yes, NJD is a placeholder. Bruins can always buy him out too. Point is I don't see him back.
