    It’s a 1.4 cap hit or you can just buy him out only cost ya 800k in cap.

    Trade value seems fine, but the Flyers seem hellbent on keeping Laughts unless they get a huge pay. They value him more as a leader than just a points guy.

    What I believe the OP's thought process was Yzerman would be willing to take him and use him in Grand Rapids (Yzerman likes winning in the AHL TOO) Where Myers has played well with The Marlies and Crunch for the 7.
    Seem a little more reasonable now?

    Yikes not sure if there will be room for another one. Wallinder McCisaac, Johansen, Tumissto, Sebrango and Viro all expected to be in GR this year. That’s not even counting Edvinsson

    I wasn't completely investigating GR, but that's just a reasonable possibility. I also assume a trade like that could really be to any team.

    But a third is unreasonable. Some GM will take a 5 or 6 to to take on 250k cap hit
