If he didnt get drafted first overall he wouldn't even be worth a second round pick. Never reached 20 goals or 40 points. This is a very deep draft and think this could help both clubs. Sabres are ready to compete now and Rangers have to many left wingers and not enough cap space. With this trade they can resign UFAs and possible trade pick in another trade.

Rangers don't even consider that nonsense trade offer. But Drury will give you a 5th round pick for Power straight up.

Rangers fan here, no he really wont. Def will cost more than a mid first but look at Dach deal last year for a comp (13oa and 66oa). I don't think he's moved tho but if he is thats the comp trade

The Dach trade is what i based this trade off. last years draft was one of the worst drafts in recent memory and this year is suppose to be a very deep draft. Which is why I valued 16th overall more then the 13th and 66. Like i said he has yet to prove anything on rangers and I think he would thrive on sabres.

Yeah, because the Sabres thrive so much. Absurd offer for Laffy and obviously the Rangers would ignore it.

If that’s the return, then they would simply say no lol

How many cheap 3rd line left wings can you name that will give you 40 points without powerplay time? A 1st round pick doesn’t do anything for them

Also, if Laffy isn’t all what he’s made out to be then why bother trading for the “bust”?

Flames pass. Not a fan of Rosen as the main piece. Take out the CGY pick and Rosen, then probably yes.
