Could be a risky trade for sure. But my opinion on that is tht Eddy and Petry were very good together in Montreal, so a trade could help out for Pittsburgh. But once again, it's a risky trade because of Eddy's injuries !

PIT counters with Granlund. Didn't Chevy reject an even better offer from MTR already?

I don't think Montreal would have to give up Mesar for Deblois.

I'm sure that MTL would do that if we can't get Dubois

You have a stranded asset with Petry and Eddy is the antidote

Eddy half retained for 2nd round pick. Take it or leave it. Think twice. Your asset is freaking stranded.

I will leave it so easily, I cannot tell you how much I don't want Edmundson on the pens haha

Not sure you'll get rid of that contract easily.

Injury history, not worth the pick, not a great puck mover, don't need a Dumo 2.0

I'm with you on injury history. But like I said earlier, Petry and Eddy together are an amazing duo. They were our best duo in MTL, and probably a top pair in the league IMO. Petry is able to bring more of his offensive play (45/50 PTS) with Eddy as his D partner, as Eddy brings a more solid defensive game. IMO, they really do complete each other! But hey, that's my opinion smile

Drop the pick to a 4th or 5th and mayby, but I still wouldn't be a fan of the trade haha
