backlund isnt likely to repeat his past season's performance. I dont see the appeal of adding him since we are looking for a long term 2C

Vladar is worth a 5th. His trade comparable is Aiden Hill, who is a better goalie on a very similar contract and went for a 4th. Further more the Ducks don't want Vladar.

When he was acquired for a third his cap hit was 750k. Since then he had a season with just below league average SV%, then he had a season so bad it dragged his NHL career save percentage below 0.900, and his cap hit is 2M.

So you have a backup making 2M who's best season was almost league average, and is coming off a 0.895 season. Explain to me how that's worth a 2nd and a 3rd.

I don't agree that he is worth a 2nd and a 3rd but I also don't agree he's worth a 5th..

None of those pieces are really fitting for the Flyers but they no doubt accept that value is ridiculous
