Basing this off of Andy Stricklands report, I don't see a fit but maybe something like this could work?????? Blues would maybe be able to go after Hanifin if this happens

Pretty easy decline for Philly. Trying to shed a bad contract not take another one on for a longer period of time

Flyers are going full rebuild, bad contracts are what they are looking for. In a couple years they can most likely flip Krug for assets

That's not how this works. They're not going to get rid of a bad contract just to take one back thats worse.

Sorry bro, but you're wrong. They aren't taking back a bad contract for more than a year or two and Krug won't be worth a used jock strap in 2 or 3 years.

Hayes for Krug is straight up and the first is for the added retention. That is rebuild 101. You take on contracts for future assets. Krug is not useless out there. It is not hard to understand

Philly doesn't care about Hayes' contract, they care about his culture fit with Torts.

If they want assets for Hayes, they're going to have to take something back. Krug is certainly a fit, imo.
