dont think having Forsberg at a low cap hit for years and a young promising D man good return for Cooley (who wont be ready for a few years and we are in win now mode)
Keller..well thinking of sending hom home to release some cap space and get some size on the rigt side D...Blais is a promising punishing grinder

I like Forsberg/Nylander duo

Coyotes can’t afford to buy Mathews, and then have to pay his contract demands, Cooley and Keller would rebuild your big 4 in a hurry, I would run them out with marner and build around that line.

For NSH, this is entirely contingent on Forsberg agreeing to move, which I don't think he will given his wife is a country singer. Unlikely that he we agree to move and move his wife away from Nashville. That said, if you add on NYI's 2024 3rd round pick and TOR for the retention then I'd think that it would be more agreeable for NSH. Not entirely sold on moving Forsberg though.

Cooly doesnt fit our timeline (although uniting him with Knies is tantalising) and Keller isnt worth the money you signed him for (imo) and we need a D to play with Morgan..Parayko is a gem...Keller would be going to play back home (hes from Misouri, as you probably already knew)

and what do you mean cant afford..you have the most cap space in the league..and maybe having 34 would help build an arena

aftewr moving Johanson, nash is most definitly invested in rebuild..Forsberg doesnt fit their timeline..we have country singers in Toronto and a big music production industry (maybe not as big as Nsh but still formidable...and with internet these days it changes the game)

I don't disagree that they are likely moving toward a rebuild and really Forsberg doesn't fit that timeline. That said, I just remember during his contract talks having a NMC was a big deal for Forsberg because he didn't want to leave NSH for family. Not saying he wouldn't for TOR, just think it is unlikely

Sorry meant to type horrible*. Keller put up 86 points in 82 games and is on a good deal, why trade him for a broken Parayko and a 4th liner?

Blais hits hits and then hits...we can use more of that...Parayko (imo) is far from broken..he would be a great partner for Morgan..weve been eyeing him for years (we..fanbase and media)
