Krug is better but Chiarot brings an element of toughness that we sorely lack. Not to mention his contract is finished sooner so be able to make room for a young guy quicker. Not worth it for the wings.

I really dislike Chairot, and Krug helps the pp more than Chairot helps anything so I'm ok with it

Detroit definitely passes, If we wanted Krug we would've signed him as a FA. He's not Yzermans kind of Dman.
