This man does not speak for the rest of us, lol. We value Bourque, for sure, but Stankoven is a potential franchise player.

I think Stankoven is more valuable than Bourque, but I also think Stankoven at his peak is going to be exactly like DeBrincat, namely a small winger with great shot and great offensive prowess. I don't see him becoming a full time center in NHL. Bourque adds something more to the roster what DAL doesn't have.

Also, as it stands the offer is quite bad value wise for Ottawa. Stankoven makes the offer better for them, too.

Personally I'd say yes to the Swayman-Pinto trade. Pinto's 20 goals with relatively low usage intrigue me and we young need center real bad.
