I wouldnt take Kuzy for 100% retained, let alone a 1st and one of Bostons higher prospects

2 bottom 6ers and a 3rd rounder would be a pathetic return for Ullmark. Preferably a younger C prospect/2nd round pick of some sorts

If Merkulov is one of your best prospects you’re in trouble. At 50% Retention, Kuznetsov is going to cost a Lot more than that. He’ll cost at least a 1st with no retention. Add in the retention and he’ll cost a 1st +.

Last season in one of the worst season of his career on one of the worst teams in the League Kuznstsov still had 55PTs which was basically the same as Bergeron, Zacha, and Krejci so basically all of the B’s Top 6 Centers.

Merkulov was a solid College FA signing. Nobody wants Kuznetsovs 7mill and hes looking to move, so he could almost be considered as a cap dump

Vegas is going to re-sign Hill and doesn't need another $5M goalie on their books.

Sure thing champ. Guys who put up 1B/2A Center numbers basically every year of their career are Cap Dumps now. Got it. Kuznetsov asked for a trade previously under a different coach. The Caps certainly seem happy to keep him. I can assure you they’re not going to trade him as a Cap Dump and I’d guess he outscores all of Bostons true Centers in this upcoming season. He almost did last year on a far worse team.

What an idiotic take lmfao. In your ONE AND ONLY post you have Hall … who had a worse year than Kuzy going for a 2nd and 5th at full cap but Kuzy is a cap dump. Gotta love that grade A hockey logic. Man people in this site say the dumbest stuff I swear

Any issue Kuznetsov had with coke was years ago and he’s had no problems since. You can keep trying to trash the guy with old worn-out nonsense but it only makes you look stupid while all your crying and histrionics make you look pathetic.

Who says hill doesn’t ask for upward of 5 mil on the open market. He just carried Vegas to a championship, and he’s probably the #1 free agent goalie. The guy’s gonna get paid and look at Colorado, they didn’t keep their cup winning goalie around. I’m sure Vegas would love to keep Hill, but they could easily end up paying more for him than they would for Ullmark (the much more proven goalie) if they ended up in a bidding war. And as long as they have Lehner on LTIR (which seems indefinite) they don’t have a 5 million dollar goalie on the books.

Lol I mean could be worse. My team could have went on this historic run breaking all the regular season records only to let down one of my franchise best players and get pumped in round one. What an embarrassment of a franchise. Woof.

It's already been reported that he's signing a two year deal at $4.9M per year and they have Lehner on the books still..
