    philly turned down a late 2023 first and a second for him, I think a 2025 first and a b level prospect is fine

    @CD282 If all Oilers overpay in this Scenarios for Pesce and all Canes cry is not enough - what would you trade as an Oilers GM

    I wouldn't, because I don't think he'll re-sign in Edmonton. The Oilers have very few upcoming skill players, so trading the ones they have for a rental doesn't make sense. Their window is not only 2023-24.

    Why would you pay this for Laughton? What makes him special in your opinion? I ask because I can't see it. He good, granted. But there are many players out there.
